Richard is the managing partner of Menzies Lawyers. He practices in the area of Civil Litigation, including Personal Injury, Automobile Accidents, Wrongful Dismissal, Real Estate Disputes, and Disputes over Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estates. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Small Claims Court on a range of matters.
Before entering the practice of law, Richard worked for the Senate of Canada. He was also a human rights advocate in Washington DC for a number of years, and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Canada Tibet Committee.
A graduate of Dalhousie Law School, he is committed to providing the highest quality of legal services to his clients by delivering practical and affordable solutions to their problems. Richard speaks French and is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the County of Carleton Law Association.
